May is here and with it has come finals – YAY! Well, in a way at least. I’m happy to have some classes over but I’m so not happy to have the amount of finals work I’ve got on top of everything else. How is it that teachers save ALL of the things for the last week of classes? Plus once this semester is over my summer classes start which means 3 condensed classes so I can still graduate on time next spring. Please send help + cookies.
The Month
→ April was a month of so many pretty highlights! My Erin Condren Notebooks finally arrived, I got just enough stickers to get me through a week, and last month’s Birchbox was way too pretty.
→ Our poor baby Master Manolo Gracey Panda XVI ended up with a bit of an ear infection so to keep him from scratching it we gave him an Elizabethan collar. Which we put on him about 3 seconds before this photo was taken. Here, you can see the puppy who has given up on his life in his natural habitat. Also, my mom had her birthday on the 4th and I got cookies! Wins all around (but none for Mani).
→ We love smoothies!! And Monopoly Deal (as I’ve said before)! And also my homemade Oatmeal Cream Pies. Mmmmm, I miss them so much.
→ Basically the rest of the month consisted of random walks and errands and school (of course). I didn’t mind all that much though – look at how gorgeous it is right now! Plus, mini pep talk, anything can be beautiful! That black & white shot up there is actually a parking garage corner that I happened to see with just the right sun streaming through. Like seriously, everything has way too much beauty for me to handle.

Well folks, let’s hit the ground running in May! I’m going to have to since Andrew & I registered for the Color Run again, which is coming up in October. I very much plan on not hurting myself prior to the run and actually completing it. Plus there’s a medal this year so I basically have to. I’m like, really competitive
How was your April?
Wishing you freaking awesome Red-Tailed Hawks and cookies,
